On November 27, 2020, the second session of the "Principal Face to Face" special teaching activity of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University in the 2020-2021 academic year was held in Conference Room 102, Huamao Building。Vice President of Tsinghua High School Xu Wenbing, Director of the Teaching Management Center Yin Fanyu, deputy director Zhang Su, Secretary of the Youth League Committee Ren Xingyang and 30 outstanding student representatives held a face-to-face discussion for nearly one hour。

This face-to-face activity focused on teaching. The proposal involved running exercises, professional courses teaching, physical education teaching, the use of school laboratories, the opening hours of gymnasiums and other aspects. School leaders attached great importance to it, organized field investigations by various departments, communicated closely with students and teaching and research groups of various grades, and studied feasible solutions。In the activity, the school leaders communicated with the students face to face, proposed solutions to the content of the students, and gave satisfactory answers to the students. The students also actively put forward their own demands, so that the school teaching activities were more reasonable。Among them, the proposal put forward by Zhao Jiayi of high School class 1913 on timely opening of the laboratory herbarium was highly recognized by the teacher。In active coordination with the Biology teaching and Research team, the school has decided to open the herbarium at 12:20 p.m. every Thursday from next week, with a dedicated biology teacher responsible for interpretation。Not only that, the biology teacher also welcomes students to sign up as volunteers and serve as small commentators in the herbarium。

At the end of the meeting, Vice President Xu Wenbing put forward three requirements to the students: First, I hope the students should take the school as their home, make the school better, but also think about what they can do for the school, how to do, and strive to let the school remember their name in the future。The second is not to live up to the expectations of parents and school training, study hard。The third is to cultivate good moral character, always pay attention to their education and moral character, and become a person of lofty ideals with great love, great virtue and great feelings。
